The multi-disciplined independent firm of letting agents and chartered surveyors operate throughout the UK, from offices in Shropshire and Essex. They are equally at home - no pun intended - working with residential and commercial property. Among the commissions Media & You has worked on with HKC is the design of sales boards, last year’s corporate Christmas card and a selection of advertisements - the most recent can be seen below. Not only are they superbly efficient, but the Shropshire arm of HKC operates from a farm on the outskirts of Shrewsbury. Lending a hand to the Fire and Rescue Service At the beginning of May I was contacted by Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) regarding pulling together a draft version of its Integrated Risk Management Plan. The document is an assessment of all risks to life and injury to the community, resulting in a long-term plan to make the service more responsive to needs identified in the county. The draft document will be mulled over by the management team at SFRS prior to revisiting for further updates and a move to completion. In addition, members of the public are invited to engage in the process online at shropshirefire.gov.uk via a questionnaire. Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service operates from 23 strategically located sites across Shropshire. SFRS has three whole-time stations located in Shrewsbury, Telford and Wellington. On-call firefighters operate from 22 stations. The headquarters is based in Shrewsbury, with the training centre in Telford.
